Someone is posing as your "Buffalo Credit Union" in text messages! They are attemting to get the mobile phone user to call the telephone number provided in these text messages. The fraudster than attempts to get personal information from the mobile phone user.
The Erie County Employees' CU will never ask a member to provide their personal information to an unsolicted telephone number, text message, fax, letter, e-mail, or internet advertisement. If you are unsure if something you received is legitmately from the Credit Union, call 858-6245.

CU aid is the national online giving center for Credit Unions. All contributions are directed to the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF) Disaster Relief Fund. The donations made to the Foundation's Disaster Relief Fund will be disbursed through the credit union leaguges or state foundations for use at the local level.
